BBC Radio 1 made excitement levels reach their peak this morning when they reported that Harry Styles’ record would be released ‘very soon’, more precisely, ‘late April/early May.’
This isn’t the first news we’ve heard regarding the album however, as Sony music boss Rob Stringer recently gushed about the album to Billboard, referring to the record as ‘beautiful’, and ‘authentic.’
He said: ‘We’re close and we’re very excited. We have a record we’re incredibly excited about and it’s not far away from being ready.’
Radio DJ, and Styles’ bessie, Nick Grimshaw, has also piped up regarding his new stuff.
He said: ‘I think it will be good. He has good taste and he likes good music, so that usually translates.
‘He’s into good music, so surely he’ll make good music.’
All of this insider information has sent a powerful ripple throughout the internet, with many fans falling into frenzy.
If the reaction from release updates is anything to go by, we might have quite a turbulent time when the record actually drops.
