‘This ain’t nothing, take a little time, baby’
In a short audio clip shared to Instagram, Payne has shared a sample of the track, which has been heard almost 700,000 times already.
And although there’s no caption accompanying the post, he’s got the help of some pretty experienced producers, tagging Danny Boy Styles – who’s worked with Beyonce – and Ben Billions, who just helped out The Weeknd on his latest single Starboy.

Also tagging songwriter Bibi Bourelly, the moody lyrics appear to give some insight into his romance with recently-divorced Cheryl.
Now before we get too excited over the song, Payne told fans while he enjoyed putting the track together, he was still unsure if it would be officially released.
‘Just finished a busy day in the studio…may not a be song I release but wanted to invite you into the writing process hope you enjoyed it,’ he tweeted.
Nonetheless, the song has prompted a wave of comments from fans across social media.
