SINGLE REVIEW: Christina Aguilera – Change



My favourite headline for this Friday was something along the lines of “Christina Aguilera Releases New Song For Victims Of Orlando Shooting”. At that moment my body had a bit of a seizure, the tears were in place and I was ready to go to church. “Change” is a touching tribute to the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando that saw 49 people lose their lives and 53 others severely injured. This beautiful ballad criticises the world we live in with the hate that is still visible towards not only just the LGBTQ community but also racial crimes. “Who you love or the colour of your skin or the place that you were born and grew up in shouldn’t decide how you will be treated.
