Too bad they didn’t take public transport!

Over a hundred of One directions fans were hit with parking fines overnight, after attending 1D gig at the Sheffield Arena, Darnall.

The gigs were part of a three day stay in Sheffield for the former X factor boygroup.

Sheffield City Council claimed they had to charge 106 vehicles due to being parked illegally on grass verges and pavements after the Sheffield Arena car park was full.

Civil Enforcement Officers handed out 75  fixed penalty notices in just two nights.

The One Direction gigs took place on 29th, 30th and 31th of October this year, they were all completely sold out within hours of the release dates.

A number of Parents of the young fans, have been notified to pay at least £35, with some fines rising to £70 if unpaid for more than 14 days.
